Compliance Specialist
● Primary duties include conducting compliance audits, inspections, and Quality Assurance checks at the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) Influx Care Facility unaccompanied children shelter in Pecos, TX.
● Responsibilities will include verifying facility compliance with the contract SOW and ORR/OSHA standards, identifying best practices, and ensuring performance-based outcomes. Compliance audits will include areas such as safety and security, intake, food service, transportation, recreation, information security, facility services, etc.
● US Advisors personnel may be assigned to conduct workplace investigations related to allegations of non-criminal facility violations, code of conduct violations, or inappropriate activity by staff and/or UACs.
● On-site duty rotations are scheduled for three (3) weeks on, six (6) weeks off; staff may initially work 12-hour days for the entire 21-day rotation, however once steady state operations are finalized, staff will work 10 hours per day, 6 days per week during their assigned rotation.
● Operational hours for Compliance Specialists are generally between 0500-2400, with scheduled shifts during those hours; due to operational activities and/or investigations, some staff may be required to work a shift outside of those hours.
● US Advisors will provide lodging, meals, and transportation during on-site duty rotations with compensation for direct travel expenses, i.e., airfare or mileage based on GSA mileage scales.
Requirements:
● Must be a U.S. Citizen or lawful permanent resident and be able to obtain and maintain a Federal Background Clearance
● Must have a valid Driver’s License with clear record
● Federal Contract Requirements: Provide proof of COVID-19 Vaccination
Law Enforcement Operational Analyst
● Performs database searches and manual queries on individuals referred to the PERC by other Law Enforcement Agencies who have previously been categorized as possibly removable non-citizens;
● Assist with real-time lead generation, target monitoring, criminal and intelligence analysis;
● Conducts calls to Law Enforcement Agencies to determine the custodial status of targeted non-citizens;
● Answers calls from Law Enforcement Agencies;
● Logs all information into a web-based case management system;
● Identifies potential process improvements and make recommendations;
● Provides enforcement recommendations and refers cases to an ERO Officer, ERO field offices or ICE headquarters offices for follow-up review and action; and
● Utilizes DHS and other federal, state, and local databases in the performance of assigned work.
Required Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s Degree with no prior experience;
● Associate’s Degree and 1 year of analytical experience; or
● High School Diploma and 2 years of analytical experience
● Ability to work in the Laguna Niguel office, varying between 1-5 days a week
Law Enforcement Senior Operational Analyst
Duties:
● Supervises the PERC contractor analysts;
● Monitors and conducts analysis of complex cases;
● Updates ACRIMe, EARM, and other ICE databases as appropriate;
● Performs detailed analytical/research support services to identify criminals and public safety/national security threats;
● Assists in the preparation of entries into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) System;
● Verifies the return of fugitive non-citizens previously removed from the U.S;
● Conducts background checks, criminal history and immigration status checks;
● Assist in prioritizing fugitive non-citizen cases for national/special operations;
● Tracks system to monitor all contractor services performed; and
● Answers phone calls.
Required Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s Degree in law enforcement or related field;
● 4 years of experience in law enforcement and/or immigration law;
● 4 years utilizing immigration and/or criminal databases; and
● 1 year of supervisory experience leading 5+ analysts in an Operations Center.
● Ability to work in the Laguna Niguel office, varying between 1-5 days a week
